Responsibility to Employees

In addition to systems for performance evaluation and training, TonenGeneral provides equal opportunity employment in accordance with all relevant laws and regulations. TonenGeneral implements equitable, non-discriminatory policies for every aspect of employment, including recruiting activities, employment, assignment, promotions, reassignment, compensation administration, and the selection of employees for training.

Our Standards of Business Conduct dictate that management must execute and manage a basic policy for equal employment opportunities and maintain a non-discriminatory workplace environment. Management has a clear responsibility to swiftly investigate and resolve any problems that may arise.

A Harassment-free Workplace

Our Standards of Business Conduct explicitly specify that no form of harassment is acceptable in the workplace. Anyone who witnesses harassment should not tolerate it, but should report it to a supervisor, management or the Human Resources Department. The Human Resources Department has established a Harassment Hotline. It allows people to report if they have been harassed or have witnessed harassment, or ask questions about behavior that may constitute harassment.

Moreover, the TonenGeneral Group is serious about human rights issues. Periodic seminars complement groups appointed at each workplace to promote human rights. Each of these groups holds meetings at their respective workplaces to ensure that employees understand human rights issues.
